06 Nov The Power within a Prayer Hug by Kathy Cobb
Have you ever thought that hugging a person could be considered a Prayer Hug? I know it may sound crazy, but I have been prayer-hugging for years. I have found that a prayer hug can take a person from distress to joy in seconds.
Perhaps you may be wondering, what is a Prayer Hug?
🙏 It’s taking the love, compassion, strength, and truth inside you and putting it into your hug, and sharing it with another.
🙏 It’s not speaking, but imparting your love at the moment.
🙏 It’s listening to God as you hug, and only then speaking words of inspiration, comfort, and encouragement.
🙏 It’s believing God is going to move the mountain and bring the receiver breakthrough, healing, joy, and strength.
🙏 It’s showing an individual that they matter and are loved by God.
With this in mind, be sensitive to those around you. Tune in to the moment and watch their body language. Ask yourself, do they look sad? Are their shoulders bent over? Is there pain in their eyes? Do they look defeated? Do they just need a hug from a friend? By doing so, you will be able to determine if they need a Prayer Hug!
The great thing about a prayer hug is it releases love to both parties, builds you both up, and creates a moment when heaven and earth touch hearts! Oh, how I love the power of a PrayerHug!!!
