Take Charge of Your Financial Future by Bonnie Gortler

Do you find yourself making excuses and procrastinating about starting an investment plan? As you strive to grow your wealth, are you sometimes intimidated or overwhelmed by your thoughts? Many feel this way, there is no better time than now to take charge of your financial future.

You can create change if you have an accountability partner. An accountability partner is a person who coaches another person while ensuring the other person stays on track with their promise or commitment. Having an accountability partner can make a huge impact on you and allow you to reach your goals sooner than you ever imagined.

Utilizing the help of an accountability partner can be the start of finding investment success. In order to begin thinking about enlisting the help of an accountability partner you must be clear on your intentions, desires and be committed.

You don’t have to make a dramatic change all at once. Make small changes, one bite at a time and before you know it, you will be saving and investing in a natural manner that becomes easier each day, it doesn’t have to be a hard or painful process.

Simple Tips to Improve Your Financial Future

  • Have clearly defined objectives. Create a written plan that has a mix of long term, (5 years or more) intermediate term (1 to 5 years) and short term (up to one year) personal financial goals. Financial planning early in life can begin leading you on the road to prosperity.
  • Know where your money is going. What are you spending each month? Write down what your monthly expenses are or create a worksheet on the computer for yourself. Notice money spent on items that had no significance or that were not high priorities.
  • Hold firmly to a budgetSee if you are earning more than what you are spending. Don’t overspend.
  • Set aside part of your pay each month, even if it’s only a few dollars.
  • Stick to your plan. Unexpected situations will come up. Don’t beat yourself up. You can make adjustments when needed, but do your best to stay on course. Be responsible and talk openly about the challenges you may be facing.
  • Develop your investment strategy. This is your plan that works for YOU, not someone else’s plan, a strategy that you believe in.
  • Manage your risk. Prevent large losses on your investments. It is more important not to lose than it is to win. Slow and steady consistent growth is much better than a roller coaster ride up and down with your investments.

Create the plan, get clear, and know your objective. Simply changing behaviors, doing a little today, and do it consistently over time will help ensure you to meet your goals and future success. With a proper plan in place, you will not only save money, but you will also be able to use money for the things you decide are important and will give you pleasure in the future. Making small changes is something that each one of us can do without too much effort and the benefits are worth every step taken. Be accountable to you, find a trusted accountability partner.

Take charge of your financial future. You will be glad you did and will reap the benefits for years to come. You have the power; the journey to wealth is within your reach.

Wouldn’t you like to reach your financial goals and need an accountability partner? Wouldn’t you like to create your own journey to wealth?
