Recently, I heard speaker and career consultant, Mike Spivey, give excellent advice to business leaders. I really enjoyed his talk because he spoke from the heart and was passionate about not only his career but everyday life. Below is a recap of a few take-a-ways he shared with his audience:

  • Don’t worry about failure. Don’t let someone you know talk you out of your dream. Dream big!
  • Take care of yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually and make sure you do it!
  • Don’t give up on your passion. Take tiny steps, they will prepare you for success.
  • Plan an outline – make goals.
