Feeling scattered and not being able to focus on one thing with so many things running through my brain because I’m getting myself ready to take a road trip with a friend, who was first a consultant under my organization in Pink Zebra Home. Figuring out what clothes I need and not taking the whole house (LOL), who does that anyway!! Where we’ll be going (ultimate destination is PZ Reunion, Vegas), how long on the road, our stay in Vegas, how hot is it there compared to GA, how much free time we’ll have to play, the sites on the way, the Grand Canyon, the friends we’ll get to see again —whew, makes my head spin!

My vacations have turned into going to PZ Reunions each year for the last 3 years. I’ve made so many new friends and met some very interesting people along the way. This year we are going further than any year, but I’m getting so excited. The posts on FB are thrilling to read and feeling the excitement as it builds. We are now in countdown mode.

Have you ever taken a trip where you were so excited you couldn’t sleep or eat or think…… well, that’s beginning to be me. I have relinquished my adult responsibilities and leaving them up to the adults I’m leaving behind. I guess I’ll be figuring out which suitcases I need and which coolers – Clothes of course, dressy ones and casual ones for our meetings. I have my list so; I’m trusting the list and checking it off as I go. We strike out next Tuesday morning bright and early on our journey across the US. We have our trusty phones, GPS, Road Atlas, and friends bringing up the rear.

Life is about journeys. It’s about the unknown. It can be exciting or frightening. Life doesn’t come with instructions or a Road Atlas to help you along your way. Something I have learned along my journey of life is that you have to have a vision of what you want. You need to ‘SEE’ that vision every day. It must be clear in your mind’s eye of what you want to reach at the end of your vision. It may not be touchable or reachable in your current state, but ALWAYS FOCUSING ON THE END RESULT WILL GET YOU THERE.
