As humans, we all are always looking that special someone to be super hero. On an earthly level, my hero is my husband. He is a kind, smart, loving and generous soul. He has always treated me with respect and from day one, has encouraged me to soar in life.

Even with all those amazing qualities, Gordon can never fill my spiritual void. To be honest, I wanted Gordon to be my “Super Hero,” but I quickly learned that was unfair to my hubby.

You see, Jesus is the only one who truly gets me, draws me out of myself, assures me I am unconditionally loved and protects my heart in the midst of brokenness. Having Jesus first place in my heart has enabled me to see life through His eyes. With Jesus, I have learned to love deeper. With His guidance, I have learned to treat others with the same love and respect that He has shown me. Life lessons from my true “Super Hero” have been very rewarding and fulfilling.

My advice to you – always keep in mind, earthly heroes are wonderful to admire, but if you are looking for a real “Super Hero” to follow – Jesus is your man! He is the best heaven has to offer!
