Do you find yourself plagued with issues of the heart? You know those “hidden” thoughts that rear up their ugly head when you least expect it! Those thoughts that you believed no longer reside in you. I do and when they come it feels like an onslaught of bad emotions/thoughts. It usually happens when I am being pulled in several directions at one time and I realize I am not feeling in control of my own “moment”.

What’s a girl to do?

In those “moments” I call out to God to help center me.  He shows me why I feel threatened and how to cope with the situation/people. In prayer, I ask him to highlight the deeper issue so I can deal with it and let go of it. If you find yourself going down that path, pause and ask God for help. He will be generous with his love and tenderly restore those “moments” so you can carry on with a cheerful heart!
