Business Babes Etiquette ~ Treating Your Client with Respect

Business Babes Etiquette ~ Treating Your Client with Respect

As a businesswoman you should always remember that every day you are building relationships throughout your community and impacting lives by your actions.

When dealing with individuals or in a group situation you should keep in mind how your client or customer views your manners.

So here are a few tips that will help customer/client relationship!

When using a cell phone:

  • Placing your cell phone on a restaurant table is permissible if it is with friends or biz friends. It is NEVER acceptable to a customer or business client. Your client deserves your undivided attention.
  • Never use foul language or slang words
  • Watch the tone of your voice and your body language
  • Be mindful when dressing for your meeting
  • Be on time and end on time

Follow Up

  • While sending a quick Thank You email after the meeting is appropriate and nice imagine how nice it would be to receive a handwritten note in the mail.
  • Perhaps placing a call to the person asking a follow-up question about their family, their business, an upcoming event they may have spoken about. Remembering conversation, you had about them and showing you care.
  • Send a card to show you care about them as a person and not out to just network through businesses.

Around Town

  • Be wise when using your cell phone in places of business. People really do not want to hear what is going on in your life.
  • Be courteous at all times because you never know who is watching or listening as you interact with others. They could become a future customer.
Key to a successful business relationship – Always remember to treat your customers with the respect and honor that is due to them. You are not only representing your company but your name.
Luke 6:31 – Do to others as you would have them do to you.
