05 Feb Perfect Unending Everlasting Love by Wanda Whitley
Love. Don’t you just love it? Love makes us feel warm and fuzzy inside, that wonderful feeling in the pit of our stomachs – honoring that person that makes our hearts go pitter-pat. Romantic love is great, isn’t it? The attraction that brings two people together. It is quite wonderful! And love is indeed a wonder in itself. Love is the greatest of all things. God tells us this in His Holy Word.
Love grows as we grow. It is amazing to get to the point in a relationship where the person you love becomes a part of you – you know them better than you know yourself!
But guess what? All of the wonderful loves we experience in this life – the love of our spouse, loving our children and grandchildren, the love of our parents and all of our additional family members, loving our dear friends, the love we have for our pets – everyone, every place, and everything we love here on earth doesn’t even begin to compare with the love that Jesus has for each one of us. He loved us so much that He died to save us.
And guess what else? The wonderful love that we all share and feel here on earth is just a taste of the love that we will experience for eternity in Heaven. You probably have read or heard of people that have had near-death experiences. Do you know that the one common theme in all of the recollections of the time these folks experienced Heaven is the amazing love that they felt there in that place? Love magnified a trillion-times over. Perfect unending love. Wow.
Today, and every day, let us not fail to share God’s love with others. If you are a reader of my writings, you may recall one of my past blogs stating that we – you and I – may be the only witness to Jesus that a person ever sees. Let us always give people we meet and come in contact with a glimpse of Heaven, by showing everyone love and kindness, and sharing with all how Jesus freely gave His life to save ours. This has always been and always will be the greatest love story ever told. So, what are you waiting for? Spread the love!
