11 Aug Unrequited Love by Diane Turel
Prophetic Word:
As I was praying, I felt a heaviness in my heart. I thought of the times when I loved someone and did not feel that they loved me back. It can be a heart wrenching feeling when you know that your love is unrequited. And then the Lord began to tell me that what I am feeling is what He feels for those who are lost, who have not found their way to Him even though He has poured out His love to them. Then He began to speak these words to my spirit:
“Where are my beloved children? I do not see them. I pour out my heart to you and I still do not see you. I am reaching out to you, but I cannot find you. Do not hide in fear, for I am for you, not against you! Do not be ashamed and run and hide. You are precious and beautiful in my sight. I have so much love to give to you, so do not walk away from it or ignore it.”
“It grieves my heart that you have been deceived into believing that I am not a loving God, but rather a vengeful and judgmental God. You turn your back on Me because you have heard the lies and believed them. BUT, I am a patient and loving God. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will patiently wait until you turn and see me. I will be waiting with arms open wide, anxiously waiting to hold you.”
“So, do not walk, BUT RUN INTO MY EMBRACE! Do not believe the lies that you are unworthy. Do not let your anger and hurt bind you up and keep you from Me! Do not run away in fear. I LOVE YOU AND MY PERFECT LOVE WILL CAST OUT ALL YOUR FEAR!”
“Return to Me and the love that you have felt and known all your life. It is in your heart. It is in the longing that you feel to be accepted, recognized, and important to someone. I AM THAT ONE! You are important to Me because I created you and formed you with my loving hands. You are accepted, you are recognized, and you are LOVED!” declares the Lord.
Then this song came to my mind:
O Come to the Altar Elevation Worship
Are you hurting and broken within? Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin? Jesus is calling Have you come to the end of yourself
Do you thirst for a drink from the well? Jesus is calling
O come to the altar The Father’s arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ
Leave behind your regrets and mistakes Come today there’s no reason to wait Jesus is calling Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy From the ashes a new life is born Jesus is calling
O come to the altar The Father’s arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ
O come to the altar The Father’s arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ
Oh what a savior Isn’t He wonderful? Sing hallelujah, Christ is risen Bow down before Him For He is Lord of all Sing Hallelujah, Christ is risen
Oh what a savior Isn’t He wonderful? Sing hallelujah, Christ is risen Bow down before Him For He is Lord of all Sing Hallelujah, Christ is risen
O come to the altar The Father’s arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ
O come to the altar The Father’s arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ
Bear your cross as you wait for the crown Tell the world of the treasure you found
