04 Aug Getting Your Ducks In A Row by Carole Storey
I was sitting at a red light when I saw a flock of geese flying overhead. They were flying in formation. The famous ‘V’ .
It was an amazing sight as I watched the geese fly swiftly like the winds. There were geese that flew in and out of the formation – flying to the middle and back to their exact places in the ‘V’ line. They alternated from side to side flying out and back in the line again and again. They flew high and low, beautifully soaring.
Have you ever watched a flock of geese flying through the air, soaring higher and with so much grace?
Have you ever wondered how they know when it’s their turn to fly out of the formation and back again?
How long are they supposed to stay in the middle?
How often are they supposed to exit the ‘V’ line formation?
How do these small brained geese understand how to engineer such a miraculous connection to each other?
Have you ever said, “When I get my ducks in a row?” I have! Only just when I think everything is finally coming together, something happens and off they go. But, as I watched these geese with such precision as they flew, it dawned on me that this is exactly how life is supposed to be.
