On November 2nd, I held my first grandchild, Jacob Paul Nelson in my arms. As I gazed into his face, the love I felt for this little guy was overwhelming. In an instant, I had a vision of me holding his mother in my arms, my heart burst with excitement because I knew Brittany was about to experience the deep abiding love of a mother and child. My next thought, JP was a blessing, the result of love in action, chosen by God, filled with potential and ready to embrace life. My part, support his mom and dad, pray for them, offer suggestions only when asked, and when given the opportunity, love on JP. Transitioning from mom to grandma – LOVE IT
