Are you an avid Pinterest user? Or did you sign up once, but are now overwhelmed by the sheer volume of pins you can see? No matter how you use Pinterest, or if you use it at all, this article will help you get the most out of the platform.
I know most people have Pinterest these days, but I’ve recently discovered just why this site is so great. If you aren’t using Pinterest regularly, you are missing out! I open my app daily and I’m glad I do because I always discover something new that sparks my creativity! Below are the top 10 reasons you should be actively using Pinterest. Make sure to share your favorite pins with me and comment below what you love about Pinterest.
1. You will become a DIY queen – Buying decorations can be expensive, but Pinterest shows you how to DIY on a budget. I’m currently working on several nursery items including wall decor and a lampshade.
2. There’s a recipe for everything – I recently found a recipe for cake batter popsicles. Enough said.
3. You can find fun activities, crafts, and games for your kids or grandkids – Pinterest has tons of kid-friendly ideas for all ages.
4. Holidays and events made easy – You can find recipes, decorations, party ideas, and more. I’ve seen a lot of pins recently for football Sundays.
5. You can create a photoshoot like a professional – I may be obsessively searching for newborn photo shoots, but you can find ideas for any occasion.
6. You can wear the latest trends – Want to find cute styles and see what matches those crazy new shoes you bought? Pinterest has tons of clothing styles and accessories to match.
7. You can plan your wedding or large event without hiring a professional planner – There is so much detail that goes into event planning and Pinterest is a great way to put all the pieces together. You can pin all the flowers in your color or fun ideas for pictures you want to take with your bridal party.
8. You can make boards private – Want to plan a party, but keep the theme a secret? You can make a private board and only invite certain people to contribute.
9. You can connect with friends or follow boards that are interesting to you – The more you use Pinterest, the more pins on your home page will be personalized for you. It makes creating your boards even easier.
10. It’s a great distraction when your husband commandeers the TV.
