When unsettled times emerge around you, it is easy to fall into the trap called the “Fear of the Unknown.” When kept unchecked, fear produces negative thoughts which can catapult you into a world called worry. Worry is your Enemy. When left to fester, this raging storm can sweep your emotions into dangerous waters. It is in those critical moments that you need to press in and ask God to show you the why’s behind the fear. The next step – learn how to equip yourself to ride out the storms in life. Equipping yourself is key to emotional survival. Just remember, God is right there beside you on the raft of troubled waters. His life preserver is Jesus and His Word is there to keep you strong. With him, fear will not overcome you! He will be your goodness, strength, and unfailing love all the days of your life!
