Kathy Cobb, Gabbin’ With The Girls Founder

Kathy Cobb is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, writer, conference speaker, and the Founder GWG-Gabbin’ With The Girls, a global friendship organization.

Growing up in Northern Virginia, Kathy discovered early on that she loved connecting with people. Her first job as a cosmetologist gave her the opportunity to enjoy friendships and encourage women to enhance their outer beauty. It was during times of consultations, styling and building personal relationships with her clients that she realized that external appearance was only one part of a woman’s true beauty. This revelation not only resulted in a personal journey for Kathy, but also awakened a deep passion in her heart to encourage women to discover the “Gift of Friendship” and to “Awaken the Sleeping Beauty Within” their own hearts.

In the 1990’s, Kathy co-founded Repairers of the Breach, a Christian prayer network in the Washington, DC area. Her natural leadership skills, vivacious personality, and desire to see others blessed provided her with varied opportunities to serve her community through outreach events, conferences, and prayer initiatives. During this season of ministry, Kathy became aware that women globally wanted to develop healthy friendships, but there was a void that remained unfulfilled no matter how many friends they had they still remained empty. By listening and asking questions, Kathy learned that a majority of women, whether young or mature, were struggling deep within women from all walks of life were in an Identity Crisis! Across the generations, women needed to be AWAKENED to their inner beauty by the awesome God who created and fashioned them! Their eyes needed to be opened to the truth that they are indeed Beautifully and Wonderfully Made! By helping them understand their divine identity and purpose, they were able to fill the void and celebrate life, family and friends to the fullest!

After moving to Georgia, Kathy founded and launched her passion through the organization known as GWG Gabbin’ With The Girls, connecting Today’s 21st Century Women. GWG is a global friendship organization that inspires women to discover their God given purpose and to embrace life to the fullest. Kathy is happiest when she sees women enjoying the gift of friendship, embracing their purpose, and celebrating themselves as the women God created them to be through every season of life.

Kathy continues to inspire women through teaching and speaking on topics of personal and spiritual development and friendship. Kathy has been a featured writer in the media and a speaker at conferences. Her varied and valuable experience has allowed her to develop an understanding of issues relating to today’s women. Kathy’s wisdom and discernment have been an inspiration to women as she helps them to release the dreams and desires deep within their hearts in order to lead more rewarding, fruitful and fulfilling lives, and become all that God intends them to be.
